FORT KNOX, Ky. — The Fort Knox Eagles football team is preparing to defend its 2019 Army Bowl title Sept. 17 after COVID-19 prevented a matchup with the Fort Campbell Falcons in 2020.
The annual head-to-head gridiron contest between the two teams, now in its 45th year, will take place at the McAdams Field. Before 2020, the traditional bowl game was skipped only two other times. Fort Knox has a 15-27 win/loss record against Fort Campbell dating back to 1975. The Eagles are looking to retain control of the trophy.
The game will kick off at 8 p.m.

For those interested in attending, gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for anyone 10 years old and above, or free to those wearing a previously purchased Army Bowl t-shirt to the game. Free parking is available behind the middle high school above the stadium, or in the gravel lot off of 11th Avenue.
No outside food or drinks are permitted. Pre-packaged concessions will be available for purchase at the stadium. Seating has been reduced to 50% venue capacity, which amounts to approximately 940 seats on the home side and 443 on the visitor side.
Fans sitting in the stands are being asked to establish six-feet of distance between family units, wash hands frequently and use sanitizer. No masks are required. However, those who choose to bring their own chairs should plan to sit along the endzone fence closest to the concession stands.
There are no plans at the moment to air the game live. For more information, call 502-624-5332.
