JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Seattle District will swear in about 15 new U.S. citizens at 1 p.m. Nov. 7 during a naturalization ceremony at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The new citizens are active-duty service members.
The ceremony takes place at the Club at McChord Field. A JBLM joint-service honor guard will present the colors. The keynote speaker for the ceremony is Col. Patrick O'Sullivan, JBLM deputy garrison commander.
USCIS officers oversee the naturalization process and provide members of the military and their families with every opportunity to receive expedited citizenship regardless of where they serve.
