SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Participants attending the seventh annual National Defense Transportation Association-U.S. Transportation Command Fall Meeting, October 7 to 10, 2019, St. Louis Union Station, St. Louis, Missouri, will have the unique opportunity to personally interact with, and learn from, the American military's senior enlisted leadership.

The first of three panel discussions, the Senior Enlisted Roundtable, occurring Monday, October 7, 12-1:30 p.m., will focus on leading in the joint environment and executing effective and efficient, globally-integrated mobility operations.

Moderated by USTRANSCOM Senior Enlisted Leader U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jason France, the co-sponsored Fall Meeting's initial roundtable will also address broad leadership issues important to attending military members, federal government employees, and industry representatives.

"Although panel members are still being determined, the Senior Enlisted Roundtable will address topics impacting our military, government, and industry attendees, as success for one is success for all," Chief France said. "I'm seeking to have representation on the roundtable from all four service branches, the Coast Guard, USTRANSCOM's component commands, as well as from the National Guard Bureau and our Nation's Reserve force."

In addition to the three planned roundtables, the NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting 2019 includes five keynote presentations conducted by U.S. military, government, and industry leaders, as well as more than 65 interactive classes and workshops comprising Transportation Academy, which since its establishment five years ago, has become the foundation of this premier, world-class logistics event.

"We cannot discount the networking and cross talking opportunity the NDTA-USTRANSCON Fall Meeting presents. It's a significant event in building relationships and networks," Chief France said. "Particularly for our younger military members, civil servants, and industry representatives, the Fall Meeting presents a one of kind environment to build and grow those professional relationships, which can last throughout your career and life."
