Fury Paratroopers Receive Weapons, Tactics Training from 2Para British Paratroopers during Operation

Fort Bragg-based paratroopers recently conducted weapons familiarization training with British paratroopers in Kenya, Africa as part of an international partner nation effort known as Operation Askari Storm.During numerous training sessions, Paratroopers from the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division received training from 2 PARA 16 Air Assault Brigade British paratroopers on the use of a SA80 Assault Rifle and the Starstreak High Velocity Missile along with numerous maneuver and assault tactics.The familiarization training is part of Operation Askari Storm, a multinational training exercise occurring in Kenya, Africa between US, British and other partner-nation forces to increase their cooperation and interoperability.
