CSM Dennis N. Dodge

CSM Dodge is from Irmo, South Carolina and enlisted in the United States Army in 1997 as a Finance Specialist. He attended basic training and advanced individual training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

His assignments include: Charlie Detachment 176th Finance Battalion, Camp Henry, South Korea; Alpha Detachment 176th Finance Battalion, Yongsan, South Korea; Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Indianapolis, Indiana; Headquarters, United States Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Headquarters, 176th Financial Management Support Unit, Yongsan, South Korea. He most recently served as the Chief, Enlisted Career Management and Proponency Sergeant Major for the Financial Management School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

CSM Dodge has deployed multiple times to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

His military education includes Finance Specialist Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Army Comptroller Course, Airborne School, Master Fitness Trainer course, Master Resiliency Trainer course, and the United States Sergeants Major Academy, Class 65.

He is a Certified Defense Financial Manager and has a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Excelsior College.

SGM Dodge's awards include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4th award), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4th award), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (4th award), the Parachutist Badge, and the Korean, German, and Chilean Jump Wings.

CSM Dodge is accompanied by his wife Hee Jung and sons Andrew and Joshua, ages 18 and 14.
