FORT JACKSON, South Carolina -- Col. Richard Menhart, commander, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, visits Logistics Readiness Center-Jackson, July 7, where he and the LRC director, David Monkowski, presented employees with American flags for continued dedicated service to the federal government.

A subordinate unit of U.S. Army Sustainment Command, the 406th AFSB commands four subordinate battalions: Army Field Support Battalion-Fort Bragg (North Carolina), AFSBn-Campbell (Kentucky), AFSBn-Fort Drum (New York) and AFSBn-Fort Stewart (Georgia), as well as Logistics Support Teams and Brigade Logistics Support Teams throughout its area of responsibility.
