WIESBADEN, Germany -- The Civilian Human Resources Agency-Northeast/Europe Region is now accepting applications for the Army in Europe Youth Summer Hire Program.

"The summer hire program is an excellent opportunity to positively influence the youth in our community," said Vera Garcia, U.S. Army Europe civilian personnel director. "The program fosters good work ethics through experience and promoting responsibility in preparation for future education and career goals. The youth will leave the program with a sense of pride, and at the same time, will have supported the Army in Europe mission."

The program will provide jobs in general clerical and light laborer positions to U.S. family member dependents ages 14-22. Applicants who are not U.S. citizens must be 15 years old.

The job announcements will be open from April 23-May 18 for all of Europe.

The program will run from June 29-Aug. 7 throughout Europe.

Online applications will be available on the CHRA-E website at https://acpol2.army.mil/sh/staffing/summerhire/.

Applicants must submit a resume online, and hard copies of supporting documents, such as W-4 and SF-1199a, must be provided directly to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center that services their community.

Refer to the vacancy announcement for further application requirements. Applications and supporting documentation must be received on or before May 18, 2015.
