OKINAWA, Japan (July 18, 2014) -- The U.S. Army Okinawa Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation hosted July 4 the 2014 Torii Beach summer music event themed "Margaritaville" at Torii Beach, Okinawa, here.
Over 6,000 military community members, local guest and family members filled the beach to participate in the event.
A local band favorite, Oki Bumz, performed classic rock on stage, as guest danced barefoot on the sand.
FMWR's special menu of fajita's, pizza, burgers and dogs were on order, but what would a "Margaritaville" party be without margaritas.
FMWR provided guest with their famed Cadillac Margarita's frozen margarita's and cocktail bar to add to the events specialties. The Okinawa Brewing Company provided another highlight to the evening as they served American-style craft beer.
A fireworks display was held at the end of the evening.
