Over the past 15 years I've had the opportunity to visit 10 countries, complete both a bachelor's and master's degrees, and more importantly, serve with some of the nation's greatest Soldiers. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and participating in community activities. How does your job support the Soldier?
I support the Soldier by serving as a both a contracting professional and business advisor through contract support and customer outreach forums, while procuring supplies and services needed for mission success. Additionally, I teach the basics of contracting (Contracting 101) to numerous organizations on Fort Bliss, including the 1st Armored Division, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Fort Bliss-Garrison, and other tenant units. Conducting classes, discussion venues, and basic outreach sessions benefits both the customer and the contracting office from lessons learned and lessons applied in respect to our daily contracting operations. What would you like others to know about you?
