FORT GORDON, Ga. -- Col. Samuel G. Anderson, Fort Gordon Garrison commander, welcomes Paula Hicks and her sons Rilo, 3, and Kayden, 5 during the International Walk to School Day Oct. 9 at Freedom Park School. Top leaders and cheerleaders handed out stickers to incoming families and children. The event also marked a continuing sponsorship of the Adopt-A-School program by the 369th Signal Battalion recomfirmed with the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Lt. Col. Curtis Iden, 369th Signal Bn. commander here, and Pauline Andres, Freedom Park School principal.
