FORT JACKSON, S.C. -- Staff Sgt. Gary Moore, Company B, 4th Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment, received the Soldier's Medal from Brig. Gen. Bradley Becker, Fort Jackson's commanding general, at the Post Theater Wednesday. Moore was awarded the highest decoration for heroism not involving combat action for protecting a Soldier's life during a training incident in 2012.
