Family, friends, along with local and state politicians and fellow teammates from the Special Forces Command (Airborne) gathered together to remember one of their own at the unveiling of his new Medal of Honor headstone. He was awarded the Medal of Honor on Oct. 6, 2010 posthumously for heroism and valor in combat while serving in Afghanistan. The event marks the three year anniversary of his death.
