Veterans, others honored during special annual MAC luncheon

Fort Huachuca, AZ. - The Greater Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee Luncheon attendees honored area veterans Nov. 7 during the annual "Take a Vet to Lunch" event held at the Thunder Mountain Activity Centre. The oldest veteran present, Jim Burnett, 94, joined the youngest service members present, Pvt. Ryan Schluter, 18, and Pvt. Jacoby Kellog, 18, in cutting the cake in honor of the attending veteran guests.

Four people were recognized for being chosen as military members or instructor of the quarter or civilian of the month. They were:

• Sgt. Mark Crosby, floor sergeant, Soldier Centered Clinic, as Post Army Noncommissioned Officer of the Fourth Quarter.

• Spc. Joshua Guzman, medical supply specialist, as Post Soldier of the Fourth Quarter.

• Marine Staff Sgt. Seven Finn, unmanned aircraft system repairer instructor, as Marine of the Quarter.

• Denise Magwood, budget analyst, Communications Security Agency, as Civilian

of the Month for October.
