JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- During the halftime ceremony at the Colts vs. Jaguars football game Nov. 8, Brig. Gen. David K. MacEwen, commanding general of the Soldier Support Institute at Fort Jackson, S.C., enlists 171 Soldiers into the armed forces. The ceremony on EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla., was part of the National Football League's "Salute to Service" program. SSI, which is part of the Combined Arms Support Command, provides training for Soldiers in human resources, finance, recruiting, postal and band career fields.
