Old Guard participates in 2012 Army Ten-Miler

The Continental Color Guard [CCG], 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), post the National Colors before the start of the 2012 Army 10 Miler at the Pentagon, Arlington, Va., Oct. 21, 2012. The Presidential Salute Battery [PSB], 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), fire their M5, 75MM Antitank Cannons to indicate the start of the 2012 Army 10-Miler at the Pentagon, Arlington, Va., Oct. 21, 2012. The PSB, founded in 1953, fires cannon salutes in honor of the President of the United States, visiting foreign dignitaries and official guests of the United States.
