FORT LEE, Va. - Soldiers dressed in period uniforms representing the 70-year span of the U.S. Army Transportation Corps' history, concluded the Warrior Recognition Ceremony held at Fort Lee, during the 2012 Transportation Corps Symposium July 26. As each Soldier stepped forward, starting with World War I, an announcer related a story from a transportation Soldier of that time period. Hundreds of Soldiers and civilians were on hand July 25-27 for professional development sessions, to share knowledge and participate in panel discussions on a variety of subjects. Highlights of this year's symposium included the dedication of the Transportation School building and a Hall of Fame induction Ceremony.
