Army DCMO Mark Lewis discusses the Army's business transformation

South Bend, IN (April 24, 2012) -- Deputy Chief Management Officer of the Army, Mark Lewis, discussed the Army's business transformation efforts with 29 Intermediate Level Senior Executives at Mendoza School of Business, Notre Dame University.

"The Army leadership is focused on proving readiness at value, emphasizing the challenges confronting our country. We will continue to provide an all volunteer force that is leaner, adaptive, flexible and offers the President a significant number of options in the event of conflict," Lewis said during his opening remarks.

During the visit, Mr. Lewis discussed how the Army is implementing a comprehensive business enterprise architecture, reengineering end-to-end business processes and achieving financial auditability with the goal of improving the Army's financial management and business transformation efforts.
