Lt. Gen. Choi Jong Il, commander of the Republic of Korea's I Corps, and Maj. Gen. Edward Cardon, commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, signed a memorandum of understanding April 27, 2012, to conduct more joint maneuvers exercises and share intelligence. Signed on Camp Red Cloud, South Korea, this accord will help strengthen interoperability between the U.S.-ROK alliance.
