ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- Army Materiel Command announced the winners of its portion of the Keith L. Ware public affairs competition Feb. 16. Among the winners were four submissions from Anniston Army Depot's newspaper, TRACKS.

In the Tabloid Format Newspaper category, TRACKS placed second.

TRACKS editor Jennifer Bacchus took third in the Human Interest category for her article entitled "Depot environmental training shows Obvious compliance."

Mark Cleghorn, the depot's Visual Information Department supervisor, took third for his photograph "Coming around the bend," which showed a trainload of Strykers entering the installation.

Last, but certainly not least, John Makamson, one of the depot's photographers, earned first place for a photo page featuring the Directorate of Production's night shift entitled "Night Shift versatility."

The winners from AMC will compete with other command winners throughout the Department of the Army in the coming months in the DA-level Keith L. Ware competition.
