Colonel Kristin K. French
Colonel Kristin K. French is a native of Glen Rock, NJ. She graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, in 1986 and was commissioned into the Regular Army as a lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps.
After completion of the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, COL French was assigned to the 13th COSCOM at Fort Hood, TX from 1987-1990, where she served both as a platoon leader and company executive officer in the 565th Repair Parts Company followed by an assignment as the 553d Supply and Service Battalion Adjutant/S-1. After attending the Quartermaster Officer Advanced Course in 1990, COL French served in the 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized) in Kitzingen, Germany from 1991-1994. While in 3ID, she was the Class I Officer in the Division Materiel Management Center and the DISCOM S-4. She then commanded Alpha Company, 703d Main Support Battalion.
COL French left Germany to attend the Logistics Executive Development Course and Florida Institute of Technology at Fort Lee, VA in 1995, where she obtained a masters Degree in Logistics Management. Following her graduation, she was assigned to Fort Bragg, NC from 1995-1997 where she deployed to Zagreb, Croatia in support of OPERATION JOINT ENDEAVOR. After returning to Fort Bragg she became the Class IX Officer in the 1st COSCOM Corps Materiel Management Center.
After graduation from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS in 1998, COL French returned to the 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized) at Fort Stewart, GA. From 1998-2001 she served as the 26th Forward Support Battalion Support Operations Officer, the Division Materiel Officer (MATO) in the Division Materiel Management Center, and the Deputy G-4. While in 3ID she deployed to Kuwait in support of OPERATION DESERT FOX.
In August 2001, COL French moved to Fort Carson, CO and assumed duties as the 43d Area Support Group Operations Officer/S-3. She assumed command of Regimental Support Squadron, 3d ACR, in June 2002 and deployed her squadron to Iraq for one year in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. After command, in July 2004, she transferred to Fort Hood, TX and assumed the duties of ACofS G4, 4th Infantry Division.
In July 2005, COL French was assigned to Carlisle Barracks, PA to attend the US Army War College. She graduated and received a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies in June 2006. Following graduation, in July 2006, she assumed command of the 406th Army Field Support Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC. In June 2008, after brigade command, she became the Executive Officer to the Director, Defense Logistics Agency, at Fort Belvoir, VA. In June 2009 she moved to the Pentagon and became the Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
COL French's awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Joint Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster. She has also earned the Parachutist Badge.

Command Sergeant Major, 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)
Command Sergeant Major Karl A. Roberts Sr.
CSM Roberts was last assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion(formally STB-K) , 8th Army, Yongsan, Korea as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major. He attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. CSM Roberts is a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia.
His assignments include: Infantry Training Center (ITC), Fort Benning, Georgia, 39th Transportation Battalion, Kaiserslautern, Germany, U.S. Special Operations Command/ Joint Special Operations Command, 82nd ABN (3/505 INF) and 1st COSCOM, 44th Med BDE, 2nd CMMC all at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 8th PERSCOM, Camp Coiner, Korea, 7th Special Forces Group, Group Support Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Headquarters Command, USAG, Fort McPherson. His duty positions consist of Squad Leader, Drill Corporal, Platoon Sergeant, Unit Mail Clerk, Unit Supply Sergeant, Instructor, Battalion/Brigade S-4 NCOIC, First Sergeant, and Senior Supply Excellence Award Lead Evaluator. He also served as the Fort McPherson/Gillem, Georgia Garrison Command Sergeant Major, being the last soldier to sign out due to BRAC 2005 on 27 August 2011.
CSM Roberts' military and civilian education consists of PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, SGM Academy, Battle Staff Course, First Sergeant Course, Special Operations Survival Course (SERE), Force Mod Course Combat Life Saver Course, Airborne, Jump Master (82nd), Air Assault and Pathfinder.
CSM Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland. CSM Roberts has deployed to Just Cause, Desert Strom/Desert Shield, Kosovo, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom).
