FORT BRAGG, N.C. (June 7, 2011)"Maj. Gen. Raymond Mason, the Army Forces Command deputy chief of staff for logistics, kicked off the FORSCOM G-4 Conference today in Fayetteville, N.C., with opening remarks that gave a frank assessment of the unique and collective challenges facing those responsible for sustaining the Army now and in the future. With a theme of “Back to Basics,” the three-day conference has brought together subject matter experts on a variety of sustainment/logistics topics of interest to the attendees. The more than 160 people in attendance represent FORSCOM and its subordinate corps, divisions, mission support element G-4’s, as well as sustainment commanders and leaders. The conference will include large forum discussions, presentations and breakout sessions. The sustainment community ensures a flow of forces ready to support combatant commanders across full spectrum operations.
