The first performance of the 2011 Twilight Tattoo program in D.C. opened May 11 at Fort McNair to thousands of American citizens from around the nation while others watched live streamed video online in 29 states and three other nations. The show was originally scheduled to open last week, but was delayed due to weather. The next Fort McNair performances are scheduled for May 25; June 1 and June 8.
Twilight Tattoo is produced by the Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington and is an hour-long military pageant featuring Soldiers from The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own."
