FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. - The Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. is tentatively scheduled to begin work outside of the Reece Road gate on Sunday.
Work on this project will be conducted between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Traffic detours will be set up prior to the start of work each night and taken down at the end of each work period. Construction is expected to be completed one to two weeks after it commences.
American Water continues smoke testing of manholes to check for leaks in the sanitation system. Work on this phase of the project has been extended to mid-April.
Testing will result in plumes of smoke rising from manhole covers. Locations of smoke testing will be distributed to residents and building managers one week prior to testing. For more information, contact your neighborhood center.
Remember to slow down in construction zones and follow posted detour signs. Running or walking in or near construction sites is prohibited.
Construction work dates are subject to change.
