Letter from the Kinsman family

By Karen KinsmanAugust 13, 2010

My family and I wanted to thank you all for the wonderful support, offers of help, and extremely kind understanding, when I've fallen a bit behind here at work, due to our house fire on June 21st.

Though the work has been daunting, as we are still trying to clean & repair whatever can be salvaged, your kind words and offers of help, have truly helped us feel that we were not alone, and that there are people out there who will step up to help, when the going really gets tough.

And it has been tough. With no renters insurance, the job has totally fallen on our shoulders to bear the brunt of the work and financial burden of the clean up, yet amidst it all, our blessings have been many. All five of our cats were saved thank to the wonderful Framingham Fire Dept. who found 3 that were unconscious, and had to be given oxygen. We acquired temporary lodging for a week, thanks to my husband's in-laws. We found ourselves a temporary house to rent right here in Natick, and though they had a 'no-pets' policy, allowed us to bring in our two older cats, while the other three are staying with my Dad in Natick, and are happily catching mice, moles & voles around Dug Pond. Hopefully, our plans to move in with my elderly father will be put on the 'fast-track', and we'll have a permanent home very soon.

You are wonderful, and we just wanted to thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts for being there during our time of need.

God Bless you all!

Love, Bill, Karen & Katie Kinsman
