COMMAND POST OSCAR, South Korea - To complement its primary Web site, Eighth (Field) Army launched its new Army.mil Web site March 10 during Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2010.
"Eighth Army has many important stories to tell," said Eighth (Field) Army Public Affairs Officer, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Buczkowski, "and this new Army.mil Web site gives us another vehicle to tell these stories."
According to Buczkowski, Eighth (Field) Army uses its primary Web site - at 8tharmy.korea.army.mil - as an information portal and news wire. Army.mil is the customizable, multimedia, news and information Web site that covers the U.S. Army's global bootprint.
With its new Army.mil Web site, Eighth Army has another medium to reach tens of thousands of additional readers daily.
"During our exercises and armistice missions, we strive to provide the most current, relevant and compelling content to our readers," said Buczkowski. "Our new Army.mil will help us expand our efforts to an even larger audience."
