WASHINGTON –The Department of the Army announced today the summer deployments of the following units to provide enhanced sustainment, engineering, communications and operational capabilities in support of the Department of War’s mission at the Southern Border.
The 1st Mobile Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, will deploy to the Southern Border to replace the 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, as part of a regular rotation of forces. Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division, will deploy to the Southern Border to replace the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division as part of a regular rotation of forces.
