FORT KNOX, Ky. — A few eager anglers showed up at key fishing spots on Otter Creek March 31 with rods in hand.
Fort Knox Hunt Control officials stocked Otter Creek with 1,200 rainbow trout March 31, 2026. The stocking was the first of three to kick off spring fishing. The other two will occur in April.

Fort Knox Hunt Control officials didn’t disappoint. By noon, 1,200 fish had been released into both bodies of water with the promise of more coming throughout April.
The next stocking of fish is planned for April 14 with a third stocking later in the month.
