ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. – The CECOM Integrated Logistics Support Center proudly recognizes Letisa M. Harris as an Army Materiel Command Employee of the 2nd Quarter, FY25. As the lead equipment specialist (provisioner) for the Logistics Data Division within the ILSC Logistics Technical Support Directorate, Harris exemplifies the highest standards of technical excellence, leadership, and team spirit in support of Army aviation platforms.

Harris has served Army Materiel Command for 18 years, previously holding a key role as a logistics data specialist before transitioning to her current position in 2023, where she has continued to thrive. She provides critical reimbursable acquisition and sustainment support for CECOM equipment across the Blackhawk, Chinook, and Apache helicopter platforms. Her work ensures the health and readiness of over 10,000 parts spanning aviation, prime mover, and Soldier systems. She leads cataloging actions, technical manual authentication, and modification work order support, coordinating across multiple echelons to align logistics data with supply support requirements for the life cycle of each system.

Her role within the Combat Aviation Power Support branch places her at the center of complex problem-solving efforts. Harris integrates seamlessly with engineers, integrated logistics support managers, technical writers, and Soldiers to deliver lasting material solutions. Her influence extends beyond technical execution, fostering team cohesion through mentoring, training, and morale-building initiatives that strengthen the branch’s culture and effectiveness.

In addition to her core responsibilities, Harris was selected to represent LTSD in the AMC/Wilson-Perumal Supply Chain Optimization initiative. As a trainer on the data integrity train-the-trainer team, she codified business rules, standardized training, and delivered policy guidance across ILSC/CECOM logistics functions. Her efforts have directly impacted the training of 75 equipment specialists, 10 managers, and 10 additional personnel, driving measurable improvements in SCO data quality metrics.

Harris also led a high-impact effort to reconcile DA2028 forms across PM Blackhawk platforms and standalone support equipment. Her strategic prioritization and methodical execution reduced a backlog of over 200 actions to just 20 in 45 days. She identified resource gaps, led cross-functional working groups, and developed new workflows that mitigated risk and streamlined future processing. Her collaboration with stakeholders from AMCOM and DEVCOM continues to yield enduring solutions.

Harris’ proactive leadership has also shaped modernization efforts, including input to the Provisioning Management Tool and Basis of Work Assessment formula development. Her commitment to innovation, training, and team development reflects a deep dedication to the Army Civilian Corps and the warrior ethos that defines our mission.

Harris is a respected leader, a trusted teammate, and a driving force behind the success of the Logistics Data Division and CECOM ILSC. Her accomplishments, technical expertise, and unwavering dedication make her a most deserving recipient of this AMC Employee of the Quarter honor. Congratulations to Letisa Harris!
