Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for May 30

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, May 30 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the G-3/5/7 of Army Reserve Aviation Command, Col. Clinton Williams, and cohosted by the operations sergeant major of Army Reserve Aviation Command, Sgt. Maj. Robert Bennett Jr.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/share/16EMMxGdCh/

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

  • Col. LaTonya Walker, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 40 years of service
  • Lt. Col. James Watson, 84th Training Command, 26 years of service
  • 1st Sgt. Daniel Armstrong, 19th Engineer Battalion, 20 years of service
  • Master Sgt. LaTonia Johnson, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 28 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Marvin Kauger, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 23 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Joanna Schnitker, Army Reserve Aviation Command, 20 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Aimee Yasin, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 20 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Timothy Pierce, V Corps, 24 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Arthur Rochon II, 157 Infantry Brigade, 20 years of service
