BOONTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Volunteer employees from the DEVCOM Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal held a yearly STEM Outreach night on March 11, 2025, for the Boonton Township Cub Scout Pack 69 at the Boonton Parish House.

This year's theme was robotics. Volunteers ran stations teaching about robot quadrupeds, micro drones, remote weapon stations, robotic programing and careers in the military.

The event was designed to get the scouts interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields, as well as to demonstrate some of the work done at Picatinny for the benefit of warfighters.

Picatinny volunteers from the STEM Outreach Office included Tom Brogan, Maj. Nate LaSorba, Sagar Patel, Mike Scalise, Yin Chen, and Grant Fehon.
