Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for Jan. 31

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the deputy commanding general of First Army East, Brig. Gen. Mark Kalin, and cohosted by the command sergeant major of First Army East, Command Sgt. Maj. Evan Lewandowski.

The public is invited, and the event will also be recorded and posted to the Fort Knox Facebook page on Feb. 4.

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

  • Mrs. Alisha Bond, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 37 years of service
  • Mrs. Robby Richardson, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 32 years of service
  • Ms. Valerie Phelps, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 37 years of service
  • Mr. Thomas Scudder, U.S. Army Human Recruiting Command, 31 years of service
  • Chief Warrant Officer 5 Maria Martinez, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 29 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Justin Lutze, First Theater Sustainment Command, 21 years of service
  • Staff Sgt. Phillip Hall, First Theater Sustainment Command, 20 years of service
