FORT KNOX, Ky. — The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. in Sadowski Center and hosted by the commanding general of U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Fort Knox, Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis, and the command sergeant major of U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Fort Knox, Command Sgt. Maj. Shade Munday.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/share/15AVWtcaP9/.

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

  • Lt. Col. Alberto Cordova, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 23 years of service
  • Lt. Col. Jason Hopkins, U.S. Army Human Resource Command, 23 years of service
  • Maj. Christopher Johnson, Sr., U.S. Army Cadet Command, 23 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Jason Brown, Army Reserve Aviation Command, 34 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Christopher Cox, 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade, 20 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Maritza Dunham, U.S. Army Human Resource Command, 20 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Burd, 4th Cavalry Multifunctional Training Brigade, 20 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Agustin Sandoval, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 26 years of service
