On Nov. 12, the stretch of Nebraska Avenue located behind the new hospital construction site is scheduled to be reopened.

According to Mark French, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, starting Nov. 11 construction crews will be removing the temporary detour traffic signs, signals and striping in preparation for the reopening. French is asking motorists to be patient as construction crews are working in high-traffic areas.

“Be mindful that as the detour route is removed, there will be lane closures and changes to traffic signs and signals. Expect minor delays, slowdown and stay alert. Please allow the crews to work safely,” French said.
