FORT KNOX, Ky. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will host a "Hiring Our Heroes" career exploration and hiring fair at the Saber & Quill Catering and Conference Center from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Nov. 19.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet, network, and interview with regional and national employers at this professional development and hiring event. All veterans, service members and military spouses are invited to attend.
More than 15 employers are expected to be on hand, offering about five thousand positions in the fields of human resources, administration and operations and information technology.
The event will also include two job exploration seminars – one for military spouses from 9 a.m. to noon, and one for service members from 9-11 a.m.
Individuals can expect to learn about SkillBridge programs, fellowship and internship opportunities, military spouse professional development and hiring programs, and LinkedIn tips.
The hiring fair portion of the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jobseekers are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume.
