FORT KNOX, Ky. — The Fort Knox Directorate of Public Works received the Secretary of Army Energy and Water Management Award for 2023 earlier this year and, as a thank you, Garrison leaders recognized the Hardin County Water District with their own partnership award.

From 2018 to 2022, the Hardin County Water District assisted Garrison leaders in plans to modernize and expand water storage systems at the installation, as well as regulating chlorine levels and more to deliver high quality potable water.
