TOWER BARRACKS, Germany - For the duration of the FPCON change the following services are closed or have limited services. Please also expect delays in entering the installation as well as for services:
- Shuttle Service: The service from Grafenwoehr to Netzberg will not operate July 1. The route between Rose Barracks and Tower Barracks remains operational
- Youth Centers: Off-post field trips are cancelled
- School Age Centers: Off-post field trips are cancelled
- Outdoor Recreation Center: No access for German-American Shooting Club members
- FMWR Trips (Day & Extended) are cancelled
- Army Community Services: Cancel off-post Relocation trips
- Chief’s Kitchen at Wild BOAR: closed until further notice
- Housing TB, RB, Hohenfels and Garmisch: Reduced services, reduced staffing, service delays and appointments as well as appliance deliveries are expected.
- DPW Self Help Office RB, TB and Hohenfels: closed until further notice
- Red Cross: Facility closed, hotline and service via phone 24/7 available
- EEO office: will be closed for walk-in or in person appointments, but continues to provide service electronically
- Hohenfels IACs Office: closed July 1
- Lola Montez Art Exhibition: postponed until further notice
- TKS: closed until further notice
- Panda Express: closed until further notice
- IPC: closed until further notice
- Community mail room: The CMR lobby will only open during normal postal services operating hours, from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from noon to 4:45 p.m. Thursdays.
These are the service changes we are tracking. If you are not sure or have specific question please call the office / service provider.
Following gate closures for Tower Barracks are in effect due to a FPCON change until further notice:
- Gate 1 is closed to all vehicle traffic. Pedestrians can continue to use the walk-in gate.
- Gate 4 is closed (Gate to Tanzfleck)
- Gate 5 is closed (Gate at the One Community Road to Axtheid-Berg next to Vilseck)
At the Joint Multinational Readiness Center at Hohenfels, Germany, Gate 3, with access from Markt Schmidmühlen, is closed during this period as will Guard Point 6 at the 1-4 cantonment.
All other Gates are on regular operation hours; this includes the Rose Barracks Back Gate (Gate 2) as well as Gate 9 (near TB Gas Station) to commute between Tower and Rose Barracks along One Community Road.
Please expect delays at all Gates. Plan extra time for entering the installation. Thank you for your cooperation.
