[PDF - 4.2 MB]

Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) require a less structured battle rhythm to meet the dynamic demands of changing battle conditions.

The authors of this release discuss the manifestation of the problems associated with applying a highly structured battle rhythm to a LSCO and provide recommendations to adapt the battle rhythm to a dynamic environment that provides the commander with the information, recommendations, and the products needed to allow staff to best meet the needs of any unit.
