Offices to have modified schedules for organization celebration, Memorial Day holiday

WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii – U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii will hold its annual Garrison Organization Celebration Friday, May 24, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Many offices and facilities across the garrison will be closed or operating with reduced staffing.

Additionally, Friday, May 24 is a U.S. Army Pacific training holiday and a 25th Infantry Division Day of no scheduled activity, or DONSA. Soldiers are encouraged to check with their unit leadership to confirm their schedules.

Monday, May 30, is Memorial Day and a federal holiday. All garrison offices other than emergency services will be closed. All Island Palm Communities pools and splash parks will be open Monday, May 27, and closed Tuesday, May 28.

The garrison will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 27, at the Schofield Barracks Post Cemetery at 10 a.m. The public is invited to join in honoring veterans who served and died in defense of our country.

Visitors should enter Schofield via Lyman Gate, off Kunia Road, and provide current ID, registration, insurance and safety check.

Additional modifications and closures over the holiday weekend are outlined below. Click on individual tables to view larger. Unless listed below, all other garrison offices will be open. Many will have reduced staffing and longer wait times should be expected.
