Lt. Col. David Lombardo speaks to the Order of St. George candidates before their knighting ceremony at the Buffalo Soldier Monument, Fort Leavenworth Kan. April 5, 2024. Eight international officers and one Department of the Army civilian were inducted into the US Cavalry and Armor Association’s Order of Saint George during the knighting ceremony. Inductees included; Maj. Dietrich Acero De La Parra (Colombia), Maj. Louis-Henri Collot D’Escury (France), Maj. James Cowan (UK), Maj. Jayme Leclerc (Canada), Maj. Rocco Nola, (Italy), Lt. Col. Etienne de Saint Chamas (France), Lt. Col. Michael Linder (Germany), Lt. Col. Cleber Simoes (Brazil) and retired Lt. Col. Gary Jones.
