SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii — Local Army units are scheduled to conduct routine training activities in February that may be heard by surrounding communities.
Training can occur during daytime and nighttime hours and is subject to change. Weather, such as overcast conditions and southerly winds can increase noise and vibrations. Should individuals hear noise, there is no immediate danger.

- February 1-2 Mortar Live Fire on Schofield Barracks 5 a.m. - Midnight
- February 1-16 East Range: Ranger and Jungle Tactics, Small Arms Blank Fire 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- February 1-18 Multi-Purpose Range Complex Live Fire on Schofield Barracks (includes Artillery & Mortars) 6 a.m. –Midnight
- February 6-8 Artillery & Mortar Live Fire on Schofield Barracks from 6 a.m. – Midnight
- February 14-15 Artillery & Mortar Live Fire on Schofield Barracks from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- February 26-29 Artillery & Mortar Live Fire on Schofield Barracks from 1 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
- February 5 – 9 East Range Aviation Training in support of a Medical exercise Midnight – 9 p.m.
- February 8 East Range Aviation Training: Medical Evacuation 4 – 7 p.m.
- February 13 East Range Aviation Training: Air Assault Mission 7 – 9 a.m.
- February 15 East Range Aviation Training: Medical Evacuation 8 a.m. – 12 noon
Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or UAS, training can occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Wheeler Army Airfield and in the restricted airspace over much of Schofield Barracks and a northwestern section of the Waianae mountain range. The Army appreciates the continued support of the local community.
The Army produces this monthly schedule to alert neighbors of upcoming training activities that are louder in nature and may be heard outside the military installation. This schedule is subject to change and is not inclusive of all Army aviation/unmanned aircraft system (UAS) activities, or East Range training activities (between Wahiawa and Mililani Mauka).
