FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. — Was it Col. Mustard in the ballroom with a candlestick? Or was it Mrs. Peacock with a dagger in the hall?
Audiences will be able to find out when the Homefront Players present Clue, opening Friday and running weekends through Feb. 18 at The Beaty Theater, building 4300 on 1100 Sustainment Ave. Clue is the theater company’s third production in its 75th season.
Audiences know Clue from the classic Hasbro board game and the iconic 1985 Paramount movie. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu.
When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. CLUE is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers trying to figure out who did it, where and with what.
The cast is led by Christopher Stephens as Wadsworth, Bridget Lydia as Mrs. White, Alex Godschalk as Mr. Green, Mike White as Col. Mustard, Katherine Ferranti as Mrs. Peacock, Laura Finaldi as Miss Scarlet, Ley Willis as Professor Plum, and Katherine Wright as Yvette. They are supported by Tim Glover, Matt Bolte, Matalin Collins and Rebecca Perkinson in featured roles.
Clue at the Beaty Theater is Co-Directed by Charles Wissinger and Leah White. The creative and production teams include Frank Foster (scenery), Mark Souza (costumes), Tristan Ketcham (lighting), John Redling (sound design), and Kim and Lynn Hockaday (props).
