Team CECOM,

Welcome to 2024! I hope you all took the time to relax and celebrate the holidays and new year with loved ones.

A new year signifies a fresh start and plenty of opportunities to improve ourselves, both individually and as a collective team. Please take a moment to familiarize yourselves with the following upcoming CECOM training opportunities for 2024:

3 JAN: FY24 Civilian Education System (CES) Leadership Training Schedule is open for registration

CES is an Army leadership development program opportunity currently available to every Civilian at any grade or career level. During FY24, courses are offered in residence at Fort Leavenworth, virtually, and on several local installations including APG. Additional information, schedules, and the application process can be located at the Army Management Staff College website (https://armyuniversity.edu/).

3 - 31 JAN: CECOM Leadership Program Application Announcements

CECOM G1 will be announcing the acceptance of applications beginning this month for the Senior Leadership Cohort 16 program and the Practical Introduction to Supervising Employees (PRISE) V program.

1 MAR - 15 MAY: 2024 Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA) Enterprise Civilian Talent Development (ECTD) Opportunities

The application cycle for ECTD programs will open on 1 MAR and will close on 15 MAY. These programs provide exceptional training and development opportunities for the next generation of Army Civilian leaders at various grade levels. Army Civilians may self-nominate through the ACCMA Talent Development Application Portal, (https://secure.civilians.army.mil/TalentDev/), if qualified to apply for the programs.

For a regularly updated training calendar, teammates are encouraged to visit the G1 Sharepoint site: https://cecom.aep.army.mil/cecom/home/G1/SitePages/Talent%20Management.aspx. Please reach out to your specific organizational training coordinators if you have any questions.

Lastly, this is a friendly reminder that nominations for the C5ISR Hall of Fame Class of 2024 are still open, with an approaching submission deadline of 31 JAN. CECOM is proud to be a part of the C5ISR Hall of Fame, which recognizes C5ISR-M community Soldiers and Civilians who’ve made significant and enduring contributions to this community and the Army. I strongly encourage you all to submit potential nominations for this wonderful opportunity to recognize exceptional and deserving C5ISR-M community members! For more information on how to nominate someone, visit: https://cecom.army.mil/Halloffame.

To all our teammates worldwide, thank you for your dedication and commitment to our warfighters!

This We’ll Defend!

Sincerely,

MG Robert Edmonson II
