Happy New Year and welcome to 2024! Last year certainly did not disappoint. 2023 was a busy, exciting year and without your tremendous contributions we would not have been successful. Many thanks to you, our valued teammates, whose dedication and expertise continue to ensure mission accomplishment.
Throughout the holidays, I sincerely hope that all of you were able to enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends. My wife Shelly and I had the opportunity to take some time off with family in Colorado Springs and visit several of our children and grandchildren. Spending quality time with family and friends was lovely, we just wish they lived a bit closer to us!
I mentioned in 2023 that a new year provides an opportunity to reaffirm commitments. A few of my commitments were a bit more demanding than others, but I kept several and will continue to strive toward reaffirming those undertakings this year. I was committed to looking for opportunities to recognize members of our team and thank them for their dedication and professionalism whenever I had the chance. This year, I look forward to continuing to reward excellence and recognize how important your work is to our mission and our Army. My dedication to ensure that our workplace is the best it can be is unwavering. Your feedback matters, your voice matters. I look forward to hearing more from all of you over the next year.
As we start 2024 together, I again would like to say thank you for all your hard work—made evident by everything our team has accomplished together. You make CECOM the exemplary place that it is. My family and I wish you peace and happiness in this new year.
