FORT KNOX, Ky. — All military retirees, their Family members, and surviving spouses in the area are invited to attend the annual Fort Knox Retiree Appreciation Day event, which will be on Friday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s event will take place at Sadowski Center, located at 6607 Wilson Road on post.
The event will kick off with a series of short briefings pertaining to retirees’ needs and interests (e.g., Veterans Affairs updates). Then, there will be several experts on hand to help people with such topics as living wills, powers of attorney and Tricare. Flu vaccines will be available to attendees.
The Fort Knox Commissary and Exchange will have several discounts and sales during the event.
