The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, June 30 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the U.S. Army Recruiting Command deputy commanding general for support, Brig. Gen. Daphne Davis, and the Medical Recruiting Brigade senior enlisted leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Louis Sidney Jr.
The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1195836234368910 (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers recommended).
The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:
· Military Working Dog Brenda, 905th Military Working Dog Detachment, eight years of service
· Lt. Col. Akaninyene Okon, 1st TSC, 22 years of service
· Maj. Marc Sauter, U.S. Army Cadet Command, 24 years of service
· Chief Warrant Officer 4 Thavy Rosenberger, V Corps, 29 years of service
· Chief Warrant Officer 3 Carl Ogle, First Army Division East, 21 years of service
· Master Sgt. Paul Brantley, First Army Division East, 20 years of service
· Master Sgt. Do Nguyen, Medical Recruiting Brigade, 20 years of service
· Master Sgt. Jawana White; Office of the Chief of Army Reserve, 28 years of service
· Sgt. 1st Class Marcus Bates, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, Noncommissioned Officer Academy, 21 years of service
· Sgt. 1st Class Verol Gill, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 24 years of service
· Sgt. 1st Class David Ribar, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 21 years of service
