New York Times bestselling author Bell and debut Young Adult author Hendrix will discuss their new titles, She’s Gone and The Chaperone respectively. Bell, an established adult thriller writer, will also discuss and sign his release Try Not to Breathe.

In The Chaperone, girls in New America must have chaperones at all times until they marry, so Stella feels lucky that Sister Helen is like a friend. And then the unthinkable happens. Sister Helen dies suddenly, and Stella feels lost, especially when the constables assign Stella a new chaperone just days later.

The event is free and open to the public, and copies of all three books will be available for purchase. For more information, call the library at 502-624-1232.
