Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for May 19

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, May 19 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the Army Reserve Aviation Command commanding general, Brig. Gen. Roger Deon Jr., and the ARAC senior enlisted leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Brian Schlatter.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/715336526874743 (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers recommended).

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

  • Col. John Schwab, from Army Reserve Aviation Command, 38 years of service
  • Col. Mark Campbell, from Army Reserve Aviation Command, 34 years of service
  • Lt. Col. Joshua Jopling, from V Corps, with 21 years of service
  • Lt. Col. Lionel Taylor, from U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with 25 years of service
  • Lt. Col. Travis Trainer, from 1st Theater Sustainment Command, with 25 years of service
  • Chief Warrant Officer 5 Martin Trenary, from U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with 32 years of service
  • Chief Warrant Officer 4 Karl Lorenz, from 1st Theater Sustainment Command, with 29 years of service
  • Chief Warrant Officer 2 William Wrenn, from V Corps, with 20 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Frederick Jones, from U.S. Army Recruiting Command, with 21 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Talessia Martin, from U.S. Army Recruiting Command, with 21 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Richard McNulty, from 34th and 905th Military Police Detachments, with 21 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Jonikka Robertson, from U.S. Army Human Resources Command, with 24 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class Darrick Traylor, from V Corps, with 22 years of service
