82nd Airborne Division Hosts All American Week

FORT BRAGG, N.C. – The 82nd Airborne Division will host current and former Paratroopers, their families, and the local community during All American Week, May 22-25, 2023.

All American Week 2023 will honor and celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Operation Urgent Fury. This campaign recognizes the actions and efforts of the Division supporting the nation’s campaign during the invasion of Grenada in 1983.

All American Week gives Paratroopers, past and present, a chance to celebrate their service in America’s Guard of Honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The following events are open to the public and media.

·      82nd Airborne Division Run; May 22 on Long Street.

·      Old Timers Breakfast; May 22 at the 2nd Brigade Combat Team’s Falcon Café.

·      All American Week 10-Miler; May 23 at Simmons Airfield.

·      Prayer Breakfast; May 23 at the Iron Mike Conference Center.

·      82nd Airborne Division Memorial Ceremony; May 23 at the 82nd Airborne Museum.

·      Family Fun Run on May 23 on Ardennes Street.

·      All American Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; May 24 at the 82nd Airborne Division’s Hall of Heroes; inductees will be announced at a later date.

·      82nd Airborne Division Review; May 25 on Pike Field.

·      34-Foot Tower; Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m to 3 p.m.; open to the public at the U.S. Army Advanced Airborne School.

·      Sports Competitions; Monday through Thursday at multiple sites. Visit microsite (link below) for more information.
