MHS GENESIS 'PiF' team recognized at KACH

CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to the MHS GENESIS ‘Pay It Forward’ team.

Keller Army Community Hospital began the MHS GENESIS GO-LIVE on Saturday, January 21, 2023; and while the process was not without glitches, the transition to the new electronic health record system was made easier with the assistance of the ‘Pay It Forward’ team.

The ‘Pay It Forward’ team consists of U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and federal civilian employees who have gone through the Department of Defense transition to MHS GENESIS and are leveraging their knowledge and experience to help new users.

“The ‘Pay It Forward’ team provided peer-to-peer mentorship that assisted our staff with the transition to MHS GENESIS,” said Col. Brianna M. Perata, Director, West Point Market, and Commander of Keller Army Community Hospital. “These subject matter experts played an integral role in our mission to develop a ready, responsive medical force that enables readiness and health of the West Point Community.”

The ‘Pay It Forward’ team received a Commander’s Coin in recognition of their valuable assistance to Keller.
