FORT KNOX, Ky. – The most recent Basic Skills Education Program graduating class of Soldiers saw a drastic increase in their General Technical scores, raising them from an average of 98 to 123.
Graduate Sgt. 1st Class Karen Willis said the course far exceeded her expectations.
“Having a higher GT score will open up more career opportunities for me,” said Willis. “Taking the BSEP class will now afford me the opportunity to submit my warrant officer packet.”
BSEP is specially designed to help Soldiers improve their Armed Forces Classification Test results and achieve a GT score of 110 or higher, which many military occupational specialties within the Army require.
